    Women & Child Welfare Department

    Introduction:

    Women and Child Welfare Department is a department of Satara Zilla parishad. Women child Welfare Committee has been established in Zilla Parishad to implement various progeams and schemes related to Women and child Welfare development The Departmen through the District Program Officer and Chairman Women child Welfare Committee as per the government decision training and empowerment schemes are  implemented for women and girls from the 10 percent fund and government grant in the zilla parishad to empower women and girls

    Vision and Mission:

    The government has decided to efficiently implement various programs and schemes through the Women and child development  Department through cess fund 10 percent of the Zilla parishad  income this benefit is done to reach the poor poor needy below poverty line  women and girls in rural areas to Women and girls should be developed and empowered in all fields Also awareness and awareness should be created about nutrition and health standards hygiene reproductive and sexual health and family and  child care Guided by programs and plans Increase confidance in women and girls The Women child development Committee fixes the expenditure limit for training school to be conducted to get information about various statutory provisions

    Objectives & Functions:

    The government has decided that the Women and Child Development Department will implement various programs and schemes effectively through 10% of the Zilla Parishad’s income fund. These benefits are aimed at reaching women and girls from rural areas who are poor, needy, and below the poverty line. The objective is to ensure the development and empowerment of women and girls in all sectors. The department also works towards improving nutrition and health standards, raising awareness about sanitation, reproductive and sexual health, and caring for families and children. Through these programs and schemes, guidance is provided, with a focus on building self-confidence in women and girls. Training schools are organized to provide information about various legal provisions. The Women and Child Welfare Committee determines the financial limits for these programs. This is the primary objective of the department.
