Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan (PMSMA)

On the 9th of each month, under the Pradhan Mantri Surakshit Matritva Abhiyan, pregnant women are examined and treated by private gynecologists at government institutions. The primary aim of this initiative is to reduce maternal mortality rates in the district and ensure that both mothers and children remain healthy and well-nourished. Over 50 private gynecologists from the district are part of this program.

Beneficiary:

Eligible women between the ages of 15 to 45 years.

Benefits:

: Pregnant and lactating mothers receive check-ups and treatment from private medical specialists.
