Objectives of the Scheme

To provide women business opportunities and promote milk production by offering a source of income to widowed, deserted, or economically weaker women.

Nature of the Scheme

Distribution of one cow or buffalo per woman beneficiary with a 50% subsidy, up to a maximum amount of ₹21,000.

• Widowed, deserted, or economically weaker women

• Beneficiaries below the poverty line (BPL)

• Marginal landholding farmers

• Small landholding farmers
