Yashwantrao Mukta Vasahat Yojana
Government decision of Freed Castes Nomadic Tribes, Other Backward Classes and Special Backward Classes Welfare Department, Government of Maharashtra. According to Neo-2017/P.No.060/Vijabhaj-1 dated 24th January 2018, to bring the community of freed castes and nomadic tribes into the mainstream of development, to raise their standard of living, increase their source of income, provide them with land and set up a colony there to achieve stability, make them economically self-sufficient, Ramai Awas Yojana or Yashwantrao Mukta Vasahat Yojana on the lines of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
- Beneficiary selection criteria
- The beneficiary family should belong to a freed caste nomadic tribe and earn their livelihood by wandering from village to village.
- The annual income of a Labharbha family should be less than 1.20 Lakhs.
- The beneficiary family should not own their own house.
- The beneficiary family should be homeless or living in a hut/kitchen/shelter.
- The beneficiary family should be landless (except for affected and resettled), collective settlement to beneficiaries in villages.
