Hindu Hriday Samrat Balasaheb Thackeray Aapla Davakhana / Urban Health and Wellness Centers

Under the 15th Finance Commission, 10 “Hindu HridaySamratBalasaheb Thackeray AaplaDavakhana” and 35 Urban Health and Wellness Centers have been approved for the Satara district. These centers aim to provide health services to the marginalized/neglected/slum areas’ residents after their work hours. The working hours of these centers are from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, ensuring access to healthcare after working hours.

Residents of slum areas receive outpatient services, free medicines, tests, health check-ups for pregnant women, teleconsultations, and mental health counseling.
