Janani Suraksha Yojana (JSY)

Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided to women below the poverty line for their first two deliveries. As per government guidelines, the following benefits are distributed:

Health workers at sub-centers maintain an advanced amount of ₹1,500 to ensure the smooth distribution of benefits. Instructions specify that eligible beneficiaries must receive the financial assistance during or within a maximum of 7 days after delivery.

Beneficiary:

Eligible women between the ages of 15 to 45 years.
